Police released a composite sketch of a man they are looking for in connection with two incidents in which students said they were accosted on the Northern Virginia Community College campus in Sterling.

The man is described as white, possibly Middle Eastern or Hispanic, in his 20s, with short black hair and an athletic build, about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7. He was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and striped shorts and “speaks with a thick accent of unknown descent,” police said.

A student told police that she was walking from the campus to a bus stop in the 21100 block of Potomac View Road between 7:20 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday when a man she did not know started talking to her about the bus. He tried to kiss her cheek, hugged her and kissed her, according to police.

The other incident happened about 20 minutes earlier, and the victim gave a similar description of a man.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-0475.
