D.C police have made a second arrest in the 2007 fatal shooting of an Upper Marlboro teen.

On Friday, police arrested 24-year-old Maurice Pope of Northeast Washington and charged him with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 19-year-old Terrence Fowler.

Fowler was shot eight times on June 2, 2007, in the Lincoln Heights area of Northeast Washington over $400 he owed for a gun, according to previous reports.

Police had also previously charged Joshua Holifeld with first-degree murder in Fowler’s death.
