Stabbing reported at Twinbrook Metro station

A man was stabbed Thursday morning as he was on a ramp just outside the Twinbrook Metro station, officials said.

The man was taken to a local hospital and his injuries are considered non life-threatening, according to Metro officials.

Just before 10 a.m., police received a report of a stabbing at the station, said Cpl. Rebecca Innocenti, a Montgomery police spokeswoman. Officers from Montgomery and Metro Transit Police responded.

No arrests have been made. Metro Transit Police are looking for two people.

No further details were immediately available.
