A 35-year-old man has turned himself in to Prince George’s County police in connection with a killing this month in which a man was shot inside a home, then dragged outside and shot again, county authorities said.
Police said James Howard Braddy Jr. of Fort Washington turned himself in to the police Criminal Investigations Division on Saturday.
He was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Trevor Alejandro Johnson, 37, of Glen Burnie, the police said.
Police said Johnson was killed about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 1100 block of Kennebec Street in the Oxon Hill area.
Police said Braddy’s former girlfriend lived in a house in that block. Braddy went there Aug. 12, and confronted Johnson inside, the police said.
Johnson was shot in the house, and his body was then dragged down the steps to a parking lot near the house, police said. He was then shot at least twice more, police said.
