A woman posing as a customer inside a Montgomery County jewelry store distracted an employee long enough for her accomplice to swipe two diamond rings with a total value of more than $20,000, police said Thursday as they released surveillance images of the suspects in hopes that someone will recognize them.

The pair walked into Masica Diamonds, 11763 Rockville Pike, about 2:10 p.m. Dec. 16, according to Montgomery police.

Anyone with information can call 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) and remain anonymous. A cash reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest or an indictment, police said.
