Taco Bell shooting in Falls Church sends man to hospital, surgery

A man was found suffering from four gunshot wounds in a Taco Bell parking lot in Falls Church early Saturday, police said.

A spokeswoman for the city police, Susan Finarelli, said authorities received a call about 4:30 a.m. on shots fired in the 900 block of West Broad Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim on the ground next to a black Mercedes-Benz sedan, Finarelli said. The restaurant was apparently closed at the time of the shooting.

The victim underwent surgery and was “doing well,” Finarelli said. The shooting remains under investigation.
