Three men stabbed in armed robbery

Three men were stabbed Tuesday night in what police are saying was an armed robbery at a residence in Hyattsville.

Prince George’s County police said they responded to the 6700 block of Belcrest Road about 11:20 p.m. for a call of an armed robbery at a residence.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found three men “suffering from stab wounds to the body,” according to Nicole Hubbard, a police spokesman. She said she did not know where on their bodies the men were injured.

They were transported to area hospitals. One of the men is in critical condition, according to police. The two other men are suffering from injuries that are not life-threatening.

Police said they have no descriptions of the suspect, according to Hubbard.
