Three men were stabbed Tuesday night in the Edgewood area of Northeast Washington, the police said.
All three were described as conscious and breathing when taken to hospitals, said Officer Paul Metcalf, a D.C. police spokesman.
The incident occurred about 7 p.m. at the triangular intersection of Edgewood and Evarts Streets. The site is about 200 yards west of the tracks of the Metrorail system’s Red Line, and the Metropolitan Branch bicycle and foot trail.
No explanation for the stabbing was available immediately.
