Three people were stabbed Monday night near a recreation center in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.
Two of the three were taken to a hospital in serious condition after the incident near the Benning Staddert Recreation Center, authorities said.
Two of the victims appeared to be male teenagers, and the third to be a young adult, police said. The center is just south of E. Capitol Street, near the River Terrace and Greenway neighborhoods.
The motive was under investigation.
