Two hurt as vehicle crashes into store in Prince George’s late Monday night

Two people were seriously injured in Prince George’s County late Monday night when a vehicle crashed into a building in the District Heights area, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 11 p.m. in the 6200 block of Marlboro Pike, said Mark E. Brady, spokesman for the county fire and rescue service.

He said the crash caused significant damage to the two-story building, which housed a tire store. It had once been a firehouse, Brady said.
