Two teenagers have been arrested in Sunday’s four robberies on the Metropolitan Branch Trail in Northeast Washington, the police said.

In addition, police said. the youths were charged in a fifth trail robbery, which occurred Monday evening.

Three of the robberies were carried out on the section of trail near Edgewood Street NE, police said. In all five, police said, a knife was displayed.

The arrests were made Tuesday evening on in the 1800 block of Bladensburg Road NE police said.

Three women and one man were victims in the first four robberies. Two victims were walking and two were jogging.
