Woman in pink robs a second bank in Prince George’s

The lady in pink has struck again, police say.

Prince George’s County police believe a woman who robbed a bank wearing all pink on Dec. 2 hit another bank on Friday.

The woman, wearing a light pink head scarf and a pink jacket, and holding a pink cellphone entered a Capital One Bank in the 5800 block of Eastern Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. on Friday and gave the teller a note demanding cash.

“Fearing for her safety, the teller complied,” police said in a statement. The woman left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police believe the woman who robbed the bank also robbed the Capital One Bank in the 6200 block of Annapolis Road. That suspect was also wearing a pink coat and scarf and holding a pink cellphone.

Surveillance photos police released show women wearing pink in each incident, but both the head scarf and jacket appear to be different. One surveillance picture shows the suspect wearing a lighter pink scarf and a coat with a different collar, than in another picture.

Police say the suspect in both robberies has been described as a black female in her late 20s, approximately 5-8 to 5-11.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 301-772-4905 or 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
