Woman robbed, brother stabbed in PG

A woman was robbed and her brother was stabbed late Tuesday in the Beltsvlle area of Prince George’s County, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 11200 block of Cherry Hill Road, according to Cpl. Maria McKinney, a spokeswoman for the county police.

She said the woman was pulled into an apartment house breezeway and robbed by three or four people. Her brother was punched and stabbed, McKinney said.

Witnesses said police canvassed the area aided by a helicopter. However there was no immediate report of any arrest.

No details were available immediately about the condition of the male victim, who was stabbed in the upper body.
