D.C. police release photos and video in Northwest sexual assault case

D.C. police released a video and a photo Wednesday of a man they consider a person of interest in the robbery and sexual assault of a woman earlier this week in Northwest.

The images were captured by an ATM camera where a man used a card stolen in an attack early Monday in the 1500 block of Meridian Place.

The woman was sitting with a man in a car when two black men wearing ski masks pulled out guns and robbed the couple, Cmdr. George Kucik said at a news conference.

The gunmen then took the woman to a nearby alley in the 1400 block of Oak Street NW, where they sexually assaulted her, Kucik said.

Police did not say where the ATM card was used.
