Source: This NBC4/Washington Post/Marist poll was conducted by telephone Sept. 14 to 16, 2014, among a random sample of 1,249 adults living in Washington D.C., including users of both land lines and cellphones. The results among 572 likely voters have an error margin of plus or minus four percentage points.
