After a tow truck driver’s death in 2011, the Maryland General Assembly is being asked to pass a law requiring motorists to move over one lane when they come upon a tow truck tending to a stopped vehicle. The House version of the bill passed unanimously Thursday, and a similar bill is awaiting action by the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee.
