Every year between Ash Wednesday and Easter, many Christians embark on a 40-day fast to give up worldly indulgences, such as meat, smoking and even social media.

Did you vow to break your social media addiction for Lent? Are you abstaining from Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, LinkedIn or other social media outlet?

If so, we want to hear from you. For an upcoming story, we are interested in talking to people who have given up social media for Lent.

We would love to hear which outlets you gave up, why you are choosing to abstain, how the experience has been so far, and what your plans are for post-Lent media consumption. (If you tried giving it up but couldn’t make it through all 40 days, we want to hear from you, too.)

E-mail fazelifardm@washpost.com to share your experience.
