Montgomery County communities to get new principals

Montgomery County schools superintendent Joshua P. Starr, last week, tapped one of Prince George’s County public schools’ top administrators to be his new chief of staff. But Andrew Zuckerman, who starts in Montgomery next month, wasn’t the only person appointed to a new job in the district.

The Board of Education in the last two months appointed several new principals, most of whom will take on their new roles after school ends in June. They are:

**Yolanda R. Allen. The principal intern at Gaithersburg Elementary School will become the principal at Goshen Elementary School.

**Mary E. Bliss. Bliss had been acting principal at Farmland Elementary School and will move into the position permanently.

**Peter H. Bray. The Belmont Elementary School principal will become the principal at Broad Acres Elementary School.

**Mildred L. Charley-Greene. The Takoma Park Middle School principal will become Northwood High School’s principal.

**Rachel C. DuBois. DuBois had been acting principal at Piney Branch Elementary School and moves into the position permanently.

**Jennifer S. Lane. The principal intern at Greenwood Elementary School will become the principal at Westbrook Elementary School.

**Brent T. Mascott. The principal intern at Maryvale Elementary School will become the principal at DuFief Elementary School.

**Wanda L. Means Harris. The assistant principal at Sequoyah Elementary School will become the principal at Dr. Charles R. Drew Elementary School.

**Shoua F. Moua. The principal at Bruce F. Vento Elementary School from the Saint Paul Public School District in Saint Paul, Minn., will become the Woodlin Elementary School principal.
