The deadline for applications is at 5 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Prince George’s has the second highest number of charter schools in Maryland. Only Baltimore City has more.

The schools in Prince George’s are: Chesapeake Math & IT - North (grades 6-10), Chesapeake Math & IT - South (grades 6-7), Chesapeake Math & IT Academy (grades K-5), College Park Academy (grades 6-8), EXCEL Academy (grades K-8), Imagine Andrews (grades K-7), Imagine Leeland (grades K-8), Imagine Morningside (grades K-5), Imagine Lincoln (grades K-8) and Turning Point Academy (grades K-8).

Applications are available on the district’s Web site and here.

Lottery drawings will take place on Feb. 14 and offers for placement will be made two weeks later. Parents have until March 15 to accept the placement.
