A community meeting scheduled to take place Wednesday night in Prince George’s County to discuss the district’s aging schools has been postponed because of the inclement weather.
The meeting, which was to take place at Largo High School, has not been rescheduled.
Wednesday’s meeting would have been the third to discuss the plans for building and repairing district’s schools.
The staff from the Department of Capital Programs has provided information about the condition of the county’s public schools and gathered input from students, parents and other members of the community about school construction over the next two decades. Information from the meetings will help guide the county as it rewrites the Educational Facilities Master Plan, which is used to create the annual and six-year capital improvement plans for the system.
