Oreo, a 2-year-old spayed guinea pig, is available from the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. Picasso, a 3½ -month-old neutered cat, is available from the Fairfax City Animal Shelter.

The Fairfax County Animal Shelter, 4500 West Ox Rd., has animals available for adoption. More animals can be seen at petango.com. Animal viewing and adoption hours are noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The shelter is closed on holidays. For information, call 703-830-1100.
