FAIRFAX CITY

Searching for “Babe”: Mode St. and Ashby Rd., April 18. A woman found a miniature pot-bellied pig running in the street and took it to the shelter, where it was claimed by its owner.

Owner issued a warning: Egan Dr., 3900 block, April 19. A Bichon Frise was found running loose and returned to its owner.

No license to run: Allison Cir., 4200 block, April 23. A dog that was running loose was taken to the shelter. An owner who claimed the dog paid for boarding fees and was given a warning.

Vienna

The following incidents were reported by the Vienna Police Department. For information, call 703-255-6396.

Going astray: Locust St. and Branch Rd. SE, 9:30 a.m. April 20. An animal control officer responding to a report picked up a stray dog that was roaming around a neighborhood and took it to the shelter.

Biting the one who feeds: Lauren Lane SE, 900 block, 11:30 a.m. April 21. Inova Urgent Care contacted animal control about a man who was bitten by his cat. The owner agreed to have the cat quarantined.
