Armory Ct., 3200 block, Dec. 1. An attempt was made to use a person’s credit card for an unauthorized purchase.

Eaton Pl., 10400 block, July 2012 to Nov. 2013. A manager of a business reported that an employee was embezzling funds from the company. A 35-year-old Fairfax area woman was charged with felony embezzlement.

Estel Rd., 3900 block, 2:16 a.m. Dec. 1. A man did not pay a cab fare. A 26-year-old Fairfax man was charged with procuring a vehicle with intent to defraud and public drunkenness.

Main St., 9500 block, 10 p.m. Nov. 30. An iPhone was stolen from a counter in a restaurant.

Main St., 10300 block. 11:40 a.m. Nov. 26. A purse containing cash, identification and credit cards was stolen from a woman in a store. The credit cards were subsequently used to make purchases.

Rock Garden Dr., 11100 block, 2:24 p.m. Nov. 22. After a woman applied for credit on an Internet site, a person claiming to be a loan officer contacted her and told her to obtain a money card and give him the number to pay for taxes on the loan. She received several additional requests for money card information but never received her loan and was unable to contact the originator of the calls.

University Dr., 3700 block. 3:37 a.m. Nov. 28. A woman did not pay a cab fare. A 21-year-old Fairfax Station woman was charged with procuring a vehicle with intent to defraud and public drunkenness.

West Dr., 10600 block, 11:30 a.m. Dec. 3. A purse containing cash, identification and gift cards was stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

VANDALISM

Main St., 10300 block, Nov. 28. A nail and a broken scissor tip were used to deflate a tire of a vehicle in a parking lot.
