A Fairfax County swim instructor has been arrested on charges that he molested a 7-year-old girl, police said.
Eduardo Requejo, 23, of Warwick Drive in Fairfax is facing two counts of aggravated sexual battery after a mother complained in early July that Requejo inappropriately touched her daughter on several occasions, Fairfax County police said.
Requejo worked as a swim instructor at the Oak Marr RECenter in Fairfax from 2005 until the allegations surfaced, police said. He also worked as a community swim instructor around the county. He was arrested Monday.
The alleged incidents did not happen at Requejo’s work site, police said, and the victim was not one of his students. Detectives think the incidents are isolated, but anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477).
