SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Aspenpark Rd. and Pohick Rd., 7:35 p.m. Jan. 15. A woman reported that a man touched her inappropriately while she was waiting for a bus. She said that when she swung her purse at him, he fled.

Bren Marr Park, 12:30 p.m. Jan. 10. A man exposed himself to a woman running in a park.

Lee Valley Dr., 6500 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 10. A male shoved a pedestrian and robbed her of a purse, then fled with a female accomplice.

Highdale Cir., 5900 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 11. A residence was entered by breaking a window. A neighbor who heard glass break called police, who arrested a 51-year-old Alexandria man a short time later. Charges included burglary and grand larceny.

Little River Tpk., 6200 block, 8:35 p.m. Jan. 13. Two people approached a man from behind, then cut him with a sharp object and ran away. No serious injuries were reported.

Arlington Blvd.and Patrick Henry Dr., 2:30 P.M. Jan. 15. A man said an acquaintance threatened him and robbed him of a cellphone.
