ASSAULTS

Hagel Cir., 9600 block, 1:30 a.m. Feb. 8. Three men attacked a man standing near a vehicle. Three Lorton men, 19, 21 and 26, were arrested on charges that included assault by mob and disorderly conduct.

ROBBERIES

Kingstowne Center, 5900 block, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9. A man asked a 15-year-old male for cash, then grabbed his wallet and tried to run away. A 19-year-old Springfield man was charged with robbery.

Knickerbocker Dr., 5100 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 12. A man riding in a car driven by an acquaintance was robbed at knifepoint by two passengers in the vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Braddock Rd., 7000 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Burgundy Pl., 5500 block, 2:30 p.m. Feb. 12. Clothes were among property stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

Dunston St., 7400 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

Hill Park Dr., 6800 block. Stainless steel was stolen from a business.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Vincent Gate Terr., 5500 block, 2 p.m. Feb. 12. A man stole a set of keys from an office, then tried to steal a vehicle nearby, but was chased down by its owner, who pulled him from the vehicle. A 27-year-old Burke man was arrested on charges that included auto theft and assault.

VANDALISM

High Valley Lane, 6600 block, 8:25 a.m. Feb. 7. A playground was damaged by spray-painted graffiti.

ROBBERIES

Fairfax Pkwy., 4100 block, 4:45 p.m. Feb. 11. Three male teenagers threatened a pedestrian, then took his cellphone. The victim was able to get his phone back, then ran away.

Little River Tpk., 6500 block. A man tried to steal cigarettes from a business. After pushing a clerk, he fled empty-handed.

Mill Towns Ct., 8700 block, 5:10 p.m. Feb. 9. Tires of a vehicle in a garage were destroyed. A man confronted by the homeowner struggled with her briefly, then fled.

Richmond Hwy., 8000 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 8. Two juveniles attacked a male teenager.

Fairchild Dr., 7100 block, 9:30 p.m. Feb. 9. A group of males threatened a pedestrian and stole his shoes.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Wakefield Park area, 6:30 a.m. Feb. 10. A woman was attacked inside a residence at which a party had been held. A 25-year-old Annandale man was charged with sexual assault and with preventing a person from summoning law enforcement.

WEAPONS OFFENSES

Alban Station Blvd., 7400 block, 7:40 a.m. Feb. 11. A man wielding a rifle threatened people at a business. A 28-year-old Herndon man was charged with brandishing and with possession of marijuana.

ASSAULTS

Reservation Dr., 7500 block, 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Two unleashed dogs attacked a dog being walked on a leash. Two men attacked the man walking the leashed dog when he intervened.

Americana Dr., 4300 block. An airbag was stolen from a vehicle.

Americana Dr., 4900 block. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Lyndhurst Dr., 3900 block, 6:09 p.m. Feb. 7. A man with a knife demanded cash from a pizza deliveryman, who resisted, then ran away. The assailant fled empty-handed.

Chain Bridge Rd., 3900 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 6 to 1:30 a.m. Feb. 7. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

Chain Bridge Rd., 3900 block, midnight to 1:30 a.m. Feb. 8. A purse containing two cellphones was stolen from a table in a restaurant.

Estel Rd., 3900 block, 5:50 a.m. Feb. 7. Three pieces of construction equipment were stolen from a job site. A 29-year-old Annapolis man, a worker at the site, was charged with grand larceny.

Jermantown Rd., 4000 block, 3:13 p.m. Feb. 8. A store security officer saw a man concealing merchandise. A 45-year-old Fairfax County man was charged with petty larceny.

Main St., 9500 block, 3 p.m. Feb. 7. A male and a female looking at diamond rings in a jewelry store grabbed a tray of merchandise and ran from the premises.

Main St., 9600 block, 2:53 p.m. Feb. 6. Employees detained a man trying to leave a store without paying for merchandise. An investigation determined that he had stolen a laptop computer from the store Jan. 10. A 20-year-old Chantilly man was arrested on charges that included felony larceny.

VANDALISM

Flintlock Rd., 3100 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 8 to 10:54 a.m. Feb. 9. Two tires of a vehicle were slashed . Deep gashes were cut into the body of the vehicle.

Follin Lane SE, 800 block, 7:45 a.m. Dec. 26. An unauthorized withdrawal was made from a credit union account.

Maple Ave. E., 300 block, 4 to 5:39 p.m. Feb. 14. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

VANDALISM

Elm St. SW, 100 block, 3:15 p.m. Feb. 12. A name was carved into wet cement at a residence.
