PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

Fairfax Woods Way, 11700 block, 1:35 a.m. March 1. A 35-year-old woman awoke to find a man looking into her bedroom and shining a light. She screamed and the man fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bryant Pl., 10800 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

Dulles Station Blvd., 2300 block. Tools were stolen from a vehicle.

Falkirk Dr., 12300 block, 4:10 a.m. March 2. Residents of a house awoke to the sound of the garage door opening. A purse was stolen.

Franklin Farm Rd., 13300 block. A wallet was stolen from a business.

Full Cry Ct., 11300 block. A cellphone, keys and credit cards were stolen from a business.

Lee Hwy., 11100 block. A BB gun was stolen from a business.

Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy., 13000 block, 4 p.m. March 1. Police stopped a group of people after observing what they believed to be a drug transaction. A juvenile ran from the group but police stopped him. A male was charged with shoplifting and possession of tobacco by a minor.

Majestic Lane, 4200 block. A package was stolen from a residence.

Muddler Way, 4800 block, 5:35 a.m. March 2. A purse was stolen from a residence entered by using a garage door opener in an unlocked vehicle.

Pender Dr., 3900 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

Railroad Vine Ct., 3000 block. A wedding ring and a backpack were stolen from a vehicle.

Waples Mill Rd., 11200 block. A Global Positioning System device was stolen from a vehicle.

ASSAULTS

Loisdale Ct., 6500 block, 1 a.m. March 5. Police investigating a report of disorderly conduct found a group of people. An 18-year-old Dumfries man was charged with disorderly conduct and a 23-year-old New York man was charged with disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.

Manchester Lakes Ct. and Manchester Lakes Dr., 6 p.m. Feb. 28. A juvenile pushed a 10-year-old to the ground as he was walking home with his musical instrument. No injuries were reported but the instrument was damaged.

Ashleigh Manor Ct., 7000 block. A generator was stolen from a residence.

Brandon Ave., 6400 block. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle.

Jefferson St. S., 3500 block, 11:20 p.m. March 1. A 44-year-old Alexandria man was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Little River Tpk., 8700 block, 9:35 p.m. March 2. A man concealed candy bars in his pocket and when he and three friends were paying for other items, the cashier demanded payment for the candy. The group assaulted the cashier, then fled.

Seven Corners Center, 6200 block, 6 p.m. March 2. A man hit two people during an argument after he parked next to them and his car door struck theirs when he exited his vehicle.

Leesburg Pike, 8300 block, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28. A masked man with a gun entered a store and demanded money, then fled with cash and a purse.

Piney Grove Ct., 2900 block, 3:45 p.m. March 1. Two masked men entered a residence, brandished a handgun and struck a 19-year-old male, then took his cellphone. No serious injuries were reported.

Carmelo Dr., 4300 block, 1:30 a.m. March 6. Police investigating a report of a suspicious person found two males, age 17 and 18. The 18-year-old fought with officers and fled. Police found him in a nearby building. An 18-year-old Fairfax male was charged with assault on a police officer and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Little River Tpk., 7500 block, 2:45 p.m. March 4. Electronic games were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

ASSAULTS

Fairfax Sq., 9900 block, 1:51 p.m. Feb. 28. A woman reported that a male who lives in her apartment building punched her in the face, kicked her dog and knocked her cellphone from her hand when she attempted to call police. A 31-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with assault and battery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chain Bridge Rd. and Eaton Pl., Dec. 19. A man used a family member’s identity when he was issued two traffic citations. The family member contacted police. A 21-year-old Gainesville man was identified and charged with forgery, a misdemeanor warrant for false identify to law enforcement, a misdemeanor warrant for identity theft used to avoid arrest, a misdemeanor warrant for driving while suspended and a summons for failing to obey a highway sign.

Chain Bridge Rd., 4100 block, 7:41 p.m. March 1. Two tickets to a sporting event, purchased through the Internet, were found to be counterfeit.

Devilwood Ct., 3600 block, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to 12:15 p.m. March 1. A ladder and scaffolding equipment were stolen from under a deck of a residence.

Fairfax Blvd., 10900 block, Feb. 25. A person used a counterfeit $100 bill at a business.

Fairfax Blvd., 9600 block, 8:30 p.m. Feb. 28 to 8 a.m. March 1. Spare tires were removed from four vehicles at an auto dealership.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 10:47 a.m. Feb. 26. A man in a grocery store was observed concealing merchandise, then leaving in a vehicle. A 52-year-old Fairfax City man was charged with petty larceny.

Hill St., 3800 block, 5:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 25. A purse containing cash, identification, credit cards, two iPhones, an iPod, a notebook computer and medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the driveway of a residence.

VANDALISM

Campbell Dr., 3100 block, 6:30 p.m. March 1 to 8 a.m. March 2. Graffiti were spray- painted on a plywood panel covering the entrance to a business.

Fairway Dr. NE, 900 block, 6:05 p.m. March 1. A rear door of a residence was damaged and several areas inside appeared to have been disturbed. The incident is under investigation.

Maple Ave. SE, 100 block, 8:40 p.m. Feb. 28. A laptop computer and computer bag were stolen from a public library.

VANDALISM

Courthouse Rd. SW, 700 block, 2:41 p.m. March 6. Several deep tire tracks were made on a grassy area at a park when a woman’s vehicle became stuck in the snow.

Ross Dr. SW, 1300 block, 5 p.m. March 1 to 7 a.m. March 2. Several lights at a park were broken and a can of foam insulation was sprayed on a sidewalk.
