Fairchild Dr., 7100 block, 10:20 p.m. April 2. Police, responding to a call about a fight, discovered that the fight was over a possible theft of a phone. The incident is under investigation.

Fielding St., 4000 block, 1 a.m. March 28. Five masked men punched two pedestrians and robbed them of cellphones and wallets.

Groveton Gardens Rd., 7100 block, 7:15 p.m. April 2. Three people, one with a knife, demanded headphones from a 15-year-old pedestrian but fled empty-handed.

Huntington Ave., 2200 block, 11 a.m. March 30. A gunman robbed a 29-year-old man of his wallet.

Lockheed Blvd., 3300 block, 9 p.m. March 28. A group of young men, one with a knife, robbed a 16-year-old male of an electronic device.

Maple Ave. E., 300 block, 3:56 p.m. April 2. A person in a self-checkout line in a grocery store attempted to leave without scanning all the items in his cart. A 27-year-old Vienna man was charged with petty larceny.

Maple Ave. E., 300 block, 5:52 p.m. April 1. A person in a grocery store filled a shopping cart with merchandise, then took it out of the store without paying for the merchandise. The person abandoned the cart and the merchandise in the parking lot.

Maple Ave. W., 300 block, 2 p.m. April 1. A driver’s license and insurance cards, accidentally left on a counter in an office, were stolen.

Blair Rd. NW, 400 block, 3 to 5:50 p.m. April 1. A windowpane in a garage door was broken.
