Fairfax officer convicted of shoplifting

A 12-year veteran of the Fairfax County police force has been found guilty of shoplifting in Loudoun County, according to court records.

Alexandra Neff, who works in the patrol bureau, attempted to take a purse and blouse from Lord & Taylor at the Dulles Town Center in December, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

She was convicted of petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Neff has appealed her conviction to the Loudoun County Circuit Court.

Fairfax County police said Neff has been placed on administrative duties, pending the outcome of an internal investigation. Neff’s attorney did not return a request for comment.
