Four arrested in Reston path robbery

Four people have been charged in connection with a robbery and assault on a Reston path that might be linked to three others in the area, Fairfax County police said.

Ali Lewis, 19, of Freetown Court in Reston, and three juveniles were arrested following a tip from the public about the June 7 incident, police said. Lewis was charged with robbery.

A 31-year-old man was punched and robbed of his belongings on a path near Pinecrest Road around 9 p.m. on June 7, police said.

So far, police have not been able to connect the suspects arrested to the other three robberies and assaults on Reston paths. They are seeking information and tips from the public in those cases.
