Four people arrested in Brandywine killing

Four young adults were charged Thursday with first-degree murder in the beating death of a man inside his Brandywine home Sunday, Prince George’s County police said.

Officials said three men and a woman, all District residents, were involved in a robbery and the subsequent slaying of Alphonso Drew, 55, at his house in the 12900 block of Old Indian Head Road.

County officers found Drew with dead with blunt-force injuries after they were called Sunday afternoon to check on him.

Police arrested Moshawn T. Magruder, 20, of the 5300 block of Clay Terrace NE; twins Erica S. Johnson and Eric D. Johnson, both 20 and of the 4500 block of Dix Street NE, and Antonio G. Johnson, 19, of the 3100 block of 15th Place SE.

No further details were released late Thursday.
