Friday in D.C.: 4 things to look for

Coming up today in the D.C. region:

Wintry mix ahead: A cloudy morning will deteriorate into a cold, wet day, with sleet and light freezing rain for most of the region.

New Anne Arundel County executive: Laura Neuman is set to be sworn in today. She replaces John Leopold, who was found guilty of misconduct in office.

Metro track work: Riders should expect delays on the Red line and four closed stations on the Orange line beginning at 10 p.m.

Guns and coffee: Today is “Gun Owners Support Starbucks Day” in Virginia, where gun rights supporters plan to enjoy their coffee while openly packing heat.
