A Herndon man died Monday when he was thrown from his SUV in a Loudoun County crash.

Enerelt Khosbayar, 28, was driving on Route 28 at 2:08 a.m. when he tried to take the exit ramp for Route 606, Virginia State Police said in a statement on the collision.

For reasons that state police are still investigating, Khosbayar lost control of his Mitsubishi Montero on the exit ramp. The SUV hit the guardrail and rolled over several times.

Police said that Khosbayar was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the SUV.
