Some dreams came true with the opening of Erna’s House, an apartment complex in the District for single women who have been homeless for more than a year. The complex, on 11th Street NW, is the product of a partnership of the D.C. Department of Human Resources and N Street Village, a group that provides shelter and social services to low-income and homeless women.
