At least seven people were shot, two of them fatally, at an outdoor neighborhood party Saturday night in Congress Heights, D.C. police said Sunday.

Authorities said Zymia Joyner, of Northeast D.C., and Rashard Waldo, of District Heights, Md., both 19, were killed.

Police said it was 11:37 p.m. when they found several victims with gunshot wounds after responding to the 3100 block of Waclark Place SE, a few blocks northeast of the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd. and 4th Street SE.

Joyner and Waldo were pronounced dead at a hospital, police said. Five other adults were treated for nonlife-threatening gunshot wounds, they said.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is available to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and conviction in a District homicide.
