Sheep and goats go for a stroll: Ryan Rd., Ashburn, Aug. 10. Some sheep and goats got onto a road. An animal control officer contacted the owner, who retrieved his animals.

Turtle on road, but no sign of hare: Dulles Greenway, Leesburg, Aug. 10. An injured box turtle was found on an exit ramp of the Dulles Greenway. The turtle was taken to a veterinarian by an animal control officer.

Domestic rabbit found: Church Rd., Sterling, Aug. 12. A domestic rabbit without identification was taken to the animal shelter by an animal control officer.

Injured owl on patio: Lois Lane, Ashburn, Aug. 12. An injured owl was found on the patio of a home. An animal control officer took the owl to a veterinarian for care.

Goose wrapped in sheet: Tall Cedars Pkwy., Aldie, Aug. 14. An injured goose was found wrapped in a yellow sheet. An animal control officer took the goose to a veterinarian.
