Inspiration Terr., 41800 block, 7:30 p.m. June 24. A laptop computer and sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle.

Chloe Terr., 43800 block, 12:01 to 12:05 a.m. July 1. A man attempted to rob a pizza deliveryman of cash at gunpoint. The robber grabbed the pizza and fled when the deliveryman said he did not have money.

Railstop Terr., 43200 block, 11:30 p.m. June 26 to 5:30 a.m. June 27. Jewelry and other property were stolen from a vehicle.

Strawrick Terr., 20900 block, 8 p.m. June 26 to 6 a.m. June 27. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Strawrick Terr., 21000 block, 8 p.m. June 26 to 8 a.m. June 27. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Dubois Ct., 21200 block, 8 p.m. June 29. Someone painted graffiti in the area.

Greenwood Dr., 17200 block, 6:30 p.m. June 27 to 6:15 a.m. June 28. A tablet computer and a knife were stolen from a vehicle.

ROBBERIES

Community Plaza, 47000 block, 10:38 a.m. June 28. A man pushed an employee at a fireworks stand and took a cash register.

Davenport Dr., 20900 block, 11:40 p.m. June 26. A man entered a restaurant and demanded free services. When he was refused, he implied he had a gun. A 26-year-old Sterling man was charged with attempted robbery, disorderly conduct, hindering law enforcement, brandishing a firearm and public drunkenness.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Benton Ct., unit block, 8 p.m. June 27 to 8:39 a.m. June 28. A tablet computer and a laptop bag were stolen from a vehicle. One of the items was recovered in Frederick County, Va., and a suspect was detained.

Williamsburg Rd., 100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 27. Four guns, jewelry and a tablet computer were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Cascades Pkwy., 20200 block, 8:45 p.m. June 29 to 12:15 a.m. June 30. Two all-terrain vehicles were stolen. One of the vehicles was recovered in the area.
