Man found fatally beaten in Brandywine

A 55-year-old Brandywine man was found fatally beaten inside his home on Sunday, Prince George’s County police said.

Police said Alphonso Ray Drew’s sister first found his body in the 12900 block of Cherry Tree Crossing Road about 5:30 p.m. and called police. An autopsy showed Drew, who lived in the home, died from blunt force trauma, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon.
