Man found fatally shot on front porch of Glen Burnie home; homeowner arrested

Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating a fatal shooting in which the victim and suspect appear to have known each other.

The shooting, which police described as a domestic situation, happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 400 block of Arbor Drive in Glen Burnie, officials said.

When officers arrived at the house, they found the victim, 25-year-old Kendall Arnaz Green, of Glen Burnie, dead on the front porch. Police allege that he was shot by the homeowner, 34-year-old Matthew Martin Pinkerton.

The victim’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.

Pinkerton was arrested and charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony/violent crime, police said.
