One person is dead and two others sustained minor injuries in a single-car accident in Laurel, Md., early Monday.
Maryland State Police said they found a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee overturned in the woods off a ramp heading to I-95 north from Maryland Route 198 a little after 3 a.m. Sunday.
The driver, Howard Thompson III, 45, of Laurel, and an unnamed passenger were taken to Prince George’s Hospital Center for minor injuries. A second passenger, Arden Hall, 44, also of Laurel, was found dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No other vehicles appeared to be involved.
