Man lying in road killed by car

A man who got out of his car and lay down in the road was struck and killed by another car early Monday in Suitland, Prince George’s County police said.

Police said that Donald Pray, 45, had been drinking before he drove down Suitland Road with at least one passenger. He got into an argument with a passenger, stopped his car and lay down near the intersection of Suitland Road and Suitland Parkway about 1 a.m. and was struck, they said. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police declined to provide any information about the other driver other than that the driver is a resident of Capitol Heights. They said the crash is under investigation.
