Man stabbed, critically wounded in Southeast D.C.

A man was stabbed and critically wounded after a dispute escalated to physical violence in Southeast D.C. Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The incident occurred about 4:40 p.m. in the 4300 block of 3rd Street SE, authorities said. Police said two men had some type of dispute, and then one pulled out a weapon and repeatedly stabbed the other.

Police said they were searching for a man wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, a black hat and glasses. The victim, they said, was flown to a hospital with injuries thought to be life threatening.
