Man’s body found in Prince George’s County

A man’s body was found Sunday afternoon in the Prince George’s County town of Bladensburg, prompting a death investigation.

Authorities said a Bladensburg police officer found the body around 4:30 p.m. in a wooded area on 57th Avenue. Police don’t know how long ago the man died or how long his body had been there.

The man’s identity and cause of death also have not been determined.
