Memorial service to be held Saturday for U-Va. student Casey Schulman

Casey Schulman, 22, of Falls Church, was killed in a boating accident in the final days of the Semester at Sea program.

A memorial service will be held in the District on Saturday for the University of Virginia student who was killed last weekend in a boating accident in the Caribbean.

The service for 22-year-old Casey Schulman of Falls Church will be held at 11 a.m. at the Roof Terrace Restaurant of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, 2700 F Street NW.

All friends and family are welcome to attend, her family said.

Schulman was killed last Saturday in an accident while snorkeling off the Caribbean island of Dominica. She had been participating in U-Va.’s Semester at Sea program and Dominica was the ship’s final stop.
