Montgomery County Adopt-a-Pet

4Deer is a 2-year-old neutered male domestic shorthair brown tabby. He’s sweet — and available for adoption at the Rockville shelter.

The Montgomery County Humane Society has hundreds of animals available for adoption at 14645 Rothgeb Dr., Rockville. If you have lost a pet or are interested in adoption, animals can be seen at the shelter from noon to 7 p.m. weekdays, except Wednesdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. To see and read more about lost and adoptable animals, such as Deer, go to www.mchumane.org/animalsinshelter; for a schedule of off-site adoption events, click “Events and Fundraisers.” For potential pets, e-mail mchs@mchumane.org or call 240-773-5960.
