Postal worker alleges dog attack: Raymoor Rd., 3500 block, Kensington, March 20. Someone called the county’s Emergency Communications Center about a mail carrier who had been attacked by a dog while on his route. The carrier said he had been in the street when a dog ran from its property and lunged, so he used pepper spray to fend it off. The officer met with the dog’s owner, who said that his small, white, mixed-breed dog only barked at the man. The carrier can file an affidavit requesting citations to be issued against the owner for a pet being loose and for unwanted contact, which would total $600.
