Two dogs bite girl and her dog: Laguna Dr., 19400 block, Gaithersburg, Sept. 17. Animal services responded to a report that two dogs had bitten a child on the leg and attacked the girl’s dog. Animal services captured one of the dogs, a pit bull mix, but the other remained loose. The person who was watching the dogs for the owner captured the second dog. Because the dogs’ owner was away, animal services took the canines to the animal shelter until contact could be made. The girl had minor injuries, as did her dog that was attacked.
