Jefferson St. E., 1700 block, 8:35 p.m. Oct. 19. A male with a weapon threatened and robbed a person. The assailant was described as wearing a dark scarf with a white pattern over his face, black sunglasses and carrying a green backpack with white lettering and a gray stripe.

Tuppence Ct. and Forest Landing Way, 4 p.m. Oct. 21. Someone robbed an acquaintance.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dr. Walling Rd., 17800 block, 3:55 p.m. Oct. 22. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Lincolnshire Dr., 12700 block, Oct. 17 to 19. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Colesville Rd., 8500 block, 11:19 p.m. Oct. 16. A robbery occurred in the parking lot at a fast-food restaurant.

Dilston Pl., 1300 block, 9:15 p.m. Oct. 20. A robbery occurred. An 18-year-old Oxon Hill man was arrested.

Old Columbia Pike, 13800 block, 7:20 a.m. Oct. 16. Two males threatened and robbed a person.

Treetop View Terr., 1600 block, 4:30 a.m. Oct. 19. Two men, one with a weapon, threatened someone and took property. A 35-year-old Hyattsville man and an 18-year-old Silver Spring man were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Brightleaf Ct., Brisbane St. (2 incidents), Granville Dr., Normandy Dr. (3 incidents), and Saybrook Ave., Oct. 15 to 21. Cash, tools, a GPS device and an iPod were stolen from eight unlocked vehicles.

Burnt Mills Ave., 400 block, 5:40 a.m. Oct. 19. A break-in occurred at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing was reported missing.

Castle Blvd., 14000 block, 4:22 a.m. Oct. 22. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Columbia Pike, 11300 block, 1:54 p.m. Oct. 21. A break-in occurred at a residence.

Connecticut Ave., 14000 block, 9:30 p.m. Oct. 11. A group of males, one with a weapon, threatened a pedestrian and took property.

Randolph Rd., 1900 block, 11:28 a.m. Oct. 17. A person was robbed of property. A 16-year-old Silver Spring male was arrested.

Wendy Lane, 3900 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20. A male threatened and robbed a person of property.

Wendy Lane, 3900 block, 7:51 p.m. Oct. 21. Two males robbed a person.

Brookville Rd., 5100 block, midnight Oct. 20 to 8:40 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Placid Lake Terr., Seabreeze Ct. and Tidewinds Way, Oct. 14 to 16. Cash, a laptop computer and sunglasses were stolen from four vehicles. There was no sign of forced entry.

Preakness Dr., 24100 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 to 2:30 a.m. Oct. 16. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Sibley Terr., 11200 block, 3:30 p.m. Oct. 15 to 8 a.m. Oct. 16. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

Winding Creek Pl., 19700 block, noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

White Ground Rd., 19500 block, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15. Property was stolen from a concession stand entered by force at Taylor Field.

Frederick Ave. S., 600 block, 4 p.m. Oct. 18. A man at a store placed a camera phone under a fitting room door, then fled.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Raven Rock Ave., 800 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22. A male at a middle school exposed himself. A 12-year-old was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Russell Ave., 800 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 18. An assault occurred at a hotel.

Washington Grove Lane and Mineral Springs Dr. Area, 10:23 p.m. Oct. 19. An assault occurred.

CARJACKINGS

Ridgeline Dr., 1000 block, 2:30 a.m. Oct. 19. Three males, one with a weapon, threatened a person and fled in his vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Frederick Ave. N., 500 block, 4:08 a.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a jewelry store entered by force.

Girard St., 400 block, noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 14 to 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

Helmond Way, 19800 block, 1:30 a.m. Oct. 17. A man attempted to enter a residence by force. A 26-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested.

Lost Knife Cir., 18300 block, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22. Property was stolen from outside a residence.

Lee St., 200 block, afternoon, Oct. 19. Property was stolen from two residences. There was no sign of forced entry.

Park Ave., 200 block, Oct. 19. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Summit Hall Rd., 300 block, 2:30 p.m. Oct. 19 to 3 p.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ASSAULTS

Veirs Mill Rd., 1900 block, 5:33 p.m. Oct. 20. A group of 5 males assaulted a male that was behind a business with friends. When the male fell to the gorund, the assailants fled.

ROBBERIES

Hungerford Dr., 500 block, 6:50 to 7 a.m. Oct. 26. Two males were seen by a citizen in a vehicle assaulting a person. The citizen distracted the assailants by pulling up to the assault and honking the horn. The assailants took property from the victim and fled in two separate vehicles northbound on Hungerford Drive. One of the vehicles is a red sedan with Maryland tags.

Stonestreet Ave. N., 400 block, 7:29 p.m. Oct. 23. Two men accosted a male pedestrian and began to assault him. One of the assailants demanded property and started to unzip a backpack implying that he had a weapon. The pedestrian handed over two cellphones and a wallet and the robbers fled in the direction of a Metro train station.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Atlantic Ave., 13200 block, 10 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 18. Five males entered a business. One of them distracted someone with conversation while the other four males took merchandise from the store without paying. The all fled in a 2003 silver Toyota Avalon with Virginia tags.

Bradley Ct., unit block, 2:40 to 6 p.m. Oct. 22. An iPad was stolen after it was accidentally left outside a residence.

Broadwood Dr., 1100 block, 9 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 26. Two wallets and cash were stolen from a vehicle.

Broadwood Dr., 1200 block, 7:15 p.m. Oct. 26 to 1:45 p.m. Oct. 27. Loose change, jewelry, and a pair of binoculars were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Creek Valley Lane, 500 block, 6:45 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26. A bicycle was stolen from a residential garage entered through an open door.

Hungerford Dr., 400 block, 2 to 3 p.m. Oct. 21. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked office.

Lewis Ave., 800 block, 1 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 27. A GPS was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Park Rd., 200 block, 5:04 p.m. Oct. 21. A wallet was stolen from a table at a restaurant.

Piccard Dr., 1800 block, 7 p.m. Oct. 26 to 9:50 a.m. Oct. 27. A laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Richard Montgomery Dr., 200 block, 8:10 to 8:15 a.m. Oct. 21. A 15-year-old male was arrested for theft and possession of a deadly weapon (brass knuckles) on school property.

Richard Montgomery Dr., 200 block, 12:55 to 1 p.m. Oct. 24. A male asked a pedestrian if he could use the pedestrian’s cellphone. The pedestrian handed him the cellphone and the male fled with it. The assailant is described as having a silver gauge in his right ear, and carrying a black backpack.

Rockville Pike, 1300 block, 2:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 19. A briefcase containing an iPad, a pair of designer sunglasses, and pocket knife were stolen from an unlocked office.

Rockville Pike, 1500 block, 2:27 p.m. Oct. 24. A man entered a store, placed merchandise inside his coat, and left without paying for the items. He fled in a brown Cadillac.

Saddle Ridge Lane, 500 block, 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 25. A pair of earphones, a sunglass case, and loose change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Shady Grove Rd., 15800 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 18 to 10:10 a.m. Oct. 21. Cash was stolen from an office suite entered by force through a rear door.

Thornden Rd., 1100 block, 8:30 to 8:35 p.m. Oct. 22. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Twinbrook Pkwy., 400 block, 2:24 to 2:25 p.m. Oct. 25. A man was seen entering an unlocked vehicle. He took a purse then fled in the direction of Meadow Hall Drive.

Upper Rock Cir., unit block, 9 a.m. Oct. 14 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26. A golf bag, a set of golf clubs, golf balls, and golf tees were stolen from a storage unit entered by climbing over a fenced partition.

Carroll Ave., 7600 block, 8:58 a.m. Oct. 27. A male took a patient’s property from a hospital waiting room.

Elm Ave., 1000 block, 6 a.m. Oct. 29. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

Jackson Ave., 7500 block, 7 a.m. Oct. 29. Property was stolen from a vehicle entered by prying open a door.

Kennewick Ave., 7900 block, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Fog lights were stolen from a vehicle.

Merrimac Dr., 900 block, 8 a.m. Oct. 26. A 47-year-old man took merchandise from a store and was arrested.

New Hampshire Ave., 7300 block, 11:40 p.m. Oct. 26. A male snatched a person’s cellphone at a bus stop and fled.

Poplar Ave., 6600 block, 3:54 p.m. Oct. 28. Two males attempted to enter a vacant residence but fled when they realized they had been seen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Carroll Ave., 7600 block, 8:53 p.m. Oct. 25. A blue 2010 Hyundai Sonata was stolen from a parking lot.
