ASSAULTS

Fleet St. and Mount Vernon Pl., 11 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 31. A robbery, second-degree assault and a theft occurred. On Feb. 3, three males, 15, 16, and 17, were arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.

ROBBERIES

Elmcroft Blvd. and Marsh Hollow Pl., 4:20 to 4:28 p.m. Jan. 28. Five males accosted a male pedestrian and attempted to take his cellphone. When the pedestrian pushed one away, three of the robbers assaulted him and fled with the cellphone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Azalea Dr., 600 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 28 to 7 a.m. Jan. 29. A pallet containing 30 bags of road salt was stolen from a building.

Currier Ct., unit block, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 28. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

Fallsmead Way, 1300 block, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 31. Two laptop computers, cash and a video game console were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a kitchen door.

Rockville Pike, 1000 block, 1:28 a.m. Jan. 30. Cash was stolen from a business entered by cutting a hole in a glass door and unlocking the door.

Flower Ave., 7400 block, 7 a.m. Feb. 1. An unlocked vehicle was entered in an unsuccessful attempt to steal it.

New Hampshire Ave., 6900 block, 12:23 p.m. Feb. 1. A 48-year-old man was arrested by Greenbelt Police after allegedly stealing an acquaintance’s rental truck in Takoma Park while helping him move.
