Mother and son struck by vehicle in Prince George’s County

A woman and her small son Saturday night were struck by a vehicle Saturday night as they walked in a roadway in the Landover area, Prince George’s County officials said.

The incident occurred in the 500 block of Garret Morgan Blvd just after 11 p.m., said Mark Brady, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County fire department.

Rescuers transported a woman and her 10-year-old son to a hospital with potentially life threatening injuries, Brady said.

No further details were immediately available.
